Late October 2005

The Robots have returned from Portland! As I type this update about our mini-tour, I'm reminded of an age old question, "When a tree falls in the forest and no one is around, does it still make sound?". Despite the poor attendance at our gigs over this past weekend, we had an incredible time. And yes, we did make sound...lots of it.

What did you miss? Well, The Tourist's debut live PA, Mork's pink scrambled eggs photo shoot, Chachi's all out assault on our ears 707/303 style, Schrödinger's squirrely cat attack and The Feature's audio family reunion. Oh yea, you also missed the stiff drinks.

Anyways, we had a blast and can't wait to do it again. A big fat thank you goes out to Ground Kontrol, Dunes and Alto Lounge for hosting us. Your hospitality was like a hot cup of cocoa (with the big marshmallows) on cold snowy day.

Audio and visual highlights can be found here.

Early Fall 2005

No news is good news - really - but in this case we have to say something about the home improvement that we've invested in.

As the news report goes, while panhandling our beautifully hand-crafted cds on the streets of San Francisco, we have earned enough money to afford ourselves a razor and a bar of soap. And somewhere along the way we've figured out that "image is everything" (duh) and "being organized is a successful step in the right direction". Hooray for us! Anyways, in addition to cleaning up, we've added a significant amount of content to the site. So get your clicker warmed up and start browsing.

Why the upgrade? And who gives a shit? Well, I guess someone has to, so here we are. We've been busy making plans and music with our partners in crime Robotspeak and Quake Trap. And as that old saying goes "You're only as strong as your weakest link". So we figured we better get off our asses before we're left in the dust.

But all in all, its just another excuse to toast an ice cold beer to the universe with our friends as we hang on tight for almighty mother nature to pay the world its dues.
