Ahimsanic began as an exploration into sound and music years ago in Ann Arbor, MI. Equipped with a Fender Stratocaster, a Peavy 120 amp and an array of effects pedals, Ahimsanic intended to alter song structure and experiment with sound itself.
Manipulation of tones, frequencies and feedback serve as the "paint," while a Tascam 4-track recorder becomes the easel. The resulting soundscapes are richly textured, sometimes beautiful and often disturbing.
